Our Mission Statement

First and foremost, the main role of ATAAC is to assist with the rehoming of animals. To date, ATAAC has rehomed kittens, cats, dogs, chickens and even a lamb! Timmy the lamb now lives at Edgar's Mission where he is the ambassador against live animal export.

Much of our funds go toward the vet bills and upkeep of the animals in our care, this is whilst both of us are studying full time at uni and hold part time jobs.

At ATAAC we also support and promote many needy shelters and organisations. To date ATAAC has supported to: RSDR (Rudozem Street Dog Rescue), B.A.R.C (Bali AdoptionRehabilitation Centre), Melbourne Rescue & Re-homing for Dogs and Cats ,Turkish Animal Group, Wildlife SOS, Friendicoes SECA, Soi Dog Rescue Thailand, SPARE (Society for the Protection of Animal Rights Egypt) and Donkey Shelter INC to name a few.


 

ATAAC also work with major groups all over Australia to promote demonstrations, campaigns and festivals. These groups include: WSPA, Animals Australia, The World League for Protection to Animals (WLPA), Horse Racing Kills, Edgar’s Mission, Oscar’s Law, Animals Asia, PETAAsia, Skin Trade, Animal Liberation Victoria, Animal Liberation NSW, Pet’sHaven, the RSPCA, Kangaboy, PetRescue and Sea Shepherd.

In addition, ATAAC devotes much of its time to answering questions from other teenagers who want to make a difference in the world. ATAAC helps teens look for a new furry companion, test vegetarian diets, search for cruelty free products in the supermarket and suggest delicious vegetarian and vegan restaurants to try out.
