World Animal Day is an international celebration of animals and the contribution they make to our lives.
To celebrate, each year the RSPCA holds the annual World Animal Day Gala Ball. In 2007 over 500 people attended and helped to raise over $170,000 for animal welfare and adoption services from this important event. This year, we are aiming to raise over $185,000 which will go directly towards animal rescue and adoption services across Victoria.
The Gala Ball event is an exciting night filled with entertainment from Melbourne's leading entertainers, traditional and silent auctions, fine food, and music to get you dancing the night away.

Tickets must be purchased by 29 August to be eligible to go into the draw for the Early Bird Promotion prize of an 'Awaken Package' at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. This package includes overnight accommodation in a Grand King room, full buffet breakfast served in the hotel restaurant, and a 1pm late check-out. The winner will also receive 2 Village Movies Gold Class vouchers and a bottle of Premium Tyrrell's Wine to enjoy.
