FOR:  Vegetarian parents and children, vegetarian teenagers, non-vegetarians with vegetarian kids, people interested in raising vegetarian children, people without children who want some 'family fun' - and anyone else who wants to join in and share.

WHEN:   Sunday 14th  February        11:00 am  -  1:00 pm

WHERE:  Picnic area, western end of Diddam's Close, Lake Ginninderra

HOW TO GET THERE:  From Ginninderra Drive turn into Diddam's Close. At the 'T' intersection, go to the RIGHT and continue driving a short way along Diddam's Close, toward the damn wall. Stop at the first car-park - near the toilet block. There is a lovely shaded grassy area and a small sandy beach called 'Nengi Bamir' just near this carpark plus a couple of electric bbqs.  There is also a playground for younger children and two swings.  Look out for the Vegetarian Society banner.  We will be sitting under the trees, on the grass easily seen from the carpark.

PLEASE BRING SIMPLE VEGETARIAN FOOD TO SHARE for our picnic. If you're baking something please put a little note listing ingredients with your food.  If you make something
especially yummy be ready to share the recipe!

WHAT ELSE TO BRING:  Yourselves, your children and any friends.  Children's activities e.g. ball, frisbee etc.  If you have any water things please also bring them.  Two kayaks will be coming and if you also have a boat please bring that along.
 
As this is the first get-together for this new group please come along with ideas and energy.  The main point being 'please come along'.  We will be discussing future activities and the direction we would like this group to take.
