ATAAC visited Soi Dog Rescue in Thailand in April 2008 and gave them much needed veterinary supplies that we had fundraised and a monetary donation. After seeing the fantastic work of John and Gill all I can say is that Soi Dog Rescue is such a worthwhile cause and needs all the support it can get. They really do perform amazing work and provide a haven for street dogs that would otherwise be living on the streets. Check out the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvYp3dzVjSo And the CNA Asians of the Year award: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s225UClTFhY And their website HERE! Friday 5th February 2010 will see the Australian Premiere of the Soi Dog Foundation documentary at the Elsternwick Classic Cinema. Not only is it the first time that this will be screened publicly in Australia, but John & Gill Dalley the founders of Soi Dog Foundation will be flying in from Thailand to attend the event!!! The 66 minute documentary is far from a standard charity campaign film and although it does give an insight into the day to day challenges of the Foundation, it is also a human story, one that combines tragedy and compassion with humor and excitement. It is inspirational and involving throughout and is suitable for the entire family to watch. This is truly not an event to be missed. Come along on the night and help make a real difference to the lives of stray animals in Phuket, Thailand.
