ATAAC
ATAAC | Australian Teens Against Animal Cruelty - Marine Animals Ambassador - Cara Ling

cara_lingCara Ling, Sydney

Cara is a 17 year old Sydney girl who has always been an avid animal lover. She turned vegetarian after watching Earthlings and since then hasn't looked back!

Cara has always felt passionate about marine animals, the ocean and beaches. This passion has meant she is also an onshore volunteer for Sea Shepherd. However her love for animals doesn't end there. She also volunteers her time with the Sydney chapter of Australian Orangutan Project and Orangutans Outreach: Oranguteens.

She plays bass guitar, clarinet and ukelele, enjoys cooking delicious meat-free meals and going on road trips. She hopes that through her role with ATAAC she can spread the word out about the slaughter of dolphins, whales and seals and other issues involving marine animals around the world.

Great news coming out of Tasmania today. The State Government has given in-principle support for a Parliamentary Inquiry into the state's greyhound racing industry, in light of the Four Corners report. It's the only state in Australia to make moves in this direction. Please email Jeremy Rockliff, the Deputy Premier & Racing Minister to let him know he has made the right decision! jeremy.rockliff@dpac.tas.gov.au
