ATAAC | Australian Teens Against Animal Cruelty - Melbourne and Sydney animal lovers: we need you!
Puppy Love is two special events which will be held in Melbourne (the night of Friday 12 Feb) and in Sydney (the afternoon of Sunday 14 Feb) for people who want to make a difference to lost and abandoned dogs and cats, while meeting other people with a similar interest in animal welfare.

Over 150 volunteers are expected (they will be painting & refurbishing the concrete dog kennels, building cat towers, washing dogs with the Hydrobath, walking impounded dogs etc). It's a good opportunity to do something constructive for the shelter, meet the facility's animals plus learn more about the shelter and what you can do.

The event is to support a number of PetRescue's Victorian-based rescue groups. Volunteers will be forming "rescue committees' for dogs that have been in foster care for some time. In order to try to find a Valentine for these dogs groups will be completely re-doing the dogs' profile (pics/videos etc) for the PetRescue website, and brainstorming new ideas for rehoming these and other rescue pets plus lots of other fun things on the night.

Tickets are $70 pp (all proceeds to go to the animals)

Enquiries and bookings can be made via the website www.madwoman.com.au/events/upcoming.php
Check the facebook event here!

SYDNEY- the event will be held at the Sydney Dogs & Cats Home on Sunday 14 Feb between 2pm and 5pm.
MELBOURNE- the event will be held in the Edinburgh Gardens in Fitzroy on Friday the 12th of Feb from 6pm to 9pm.
